Guiel is an expert in operations and logistics. He has
extensive experience setting up as well as managing operations.
At Life Technologies, he was directly responsible for establishing
global manufacturing and distribution operations for their custom
primers business. Mr. Guiel established manufacturing sites Maryland,
Japan, New Zealand, Brazil and United Kingdom and partnerships with
manufacturers in California, Alabama, Louisiana, and Virginia. He
established and coordinated the global ordering and distribution
operations. He is well versed in moving products efficiently from
one country to another: into and out of the United States; within,
out of, and into the pacific basin, the European Union, and North
America. In his last fifteen years with Life Technologies/Invitrogen
he led global teams for the introduction of new products, services,
and businesses. He is also a skilled scientist with experience in
